The Implementation of the Modified Variational Measurements Data Assimilation Algorithm in Passive Tracer Transport Models in the Sea of Azov

Abstract

The numerical implementation of the modified variational measurements data assimilation algorithm of the passive admixture in transport model for the Sea of Azov water area is proposed. A standard variation procedure is also used to solve the problem of initial data identification. The results are compared with each other. In the course of numerical experiments, a significant reduction of the processor time used in the implementation of the proposed algorithm of data measurement assimilation was obtained.
