Using the Method of Conjugated Equations to Identificate the Sources of Pollution in the Sea of Azov

Abstract

Based on the method of conjugate equations, the procedure for identifying the location of the source of pollution is implemented. The problem is solved for an instant point source in the passive admixture transport model for the Sea of Azov water area. Numerical experiments have shown reliable operation of the algorithm for identifying the parameters of the source of pollution as applied to the passive admixture transport model in the Sea of Azov.
