Abstract
The methods of assessment of the Sivash Lagoon current state under the North-Crimean Canal overlap in 2014 are suggested. The prospects and possibilities are discussed how to implement the methods for assessing the changes of the Sivash Lagoon resource potential under growth of brine salinity in the different parts of the Eastern Sivash and for estimation of separate water balance components of the Lagoon in whole. Using satellite images the possibility of assessing the coastline dynamics of the Lagoon under new environment is demonstrated.
