Abstract

A considerable length of the Black and Azov seas coast is under intensive erosion and land slip and rockslide processes. The tens of kilometer to coastline are "protected" by various types of reinforced concrete constructions, which are characterized by low efficiency. Many sections are not suitable for recreation due to lack of beaches. One of the reasons is the lack of adequate state policy in the nature management of marine coasts. The creation of artificial beaches on the base of modern methods and technologies is given as example.
