Abstract

Study of the Granulometric Composition of Beach and Bottom Sediments of the Bakalskaya Spit The methodology and results of study of the granulometric composition of beach and bottom sediments building the Bakalskaya Spit (the Black Sea) and the adjacent submarine slope are given. The analysis of obtained data is showed that the long-shore distribution of the grain-size composition indicates on differences in hydro-lithodynamics conditions of individual coast sections more than the location of main beach-forming sediment sources. The obtained data are important for understanding of current lithodynamics processes and the evolution of the Bakalskaya Spit geosystem.
