Abstract
Short-period variability of the temperature field in the near-bottom and intermediate layers of the Black Sea coastal zone has been studied. The analysis was done by means of the full-scale measurements that were made with the aid of the thermochain, which had been installed at the Black Sea hydrophysical training ground of the IO RAS. We have used cross-spectral analysis of temperature fluctuations at different horizons. The research has shown that temperature fluctuations with a period about a minute have high coherence in the bottom and intermediate layers. The phase shift between the temperature fluctuations at frequencies corresponding to the indicated time scale does not exceed 2°.
