Abstract
The paper presents the results of monitoring of city beaches of the South side of Sevastopol obtained during field research of Marine Hydrophysical Institute of RAS in 2016-2017. It gives the geomorphological description of the shores, morphometric characteristics of the beaches and grain size distribution of beach material. The main natural and human activity factors that affect the conditions of existence and trends of beach changes are highlighted.
