Abstract
The monitoring of the Azov sea ice conditions in winter 2015 – 2016 on the basis of remote sensing data and coastal meteorological observations was conducted. It was revealed that the ice conditions of the Sea of Azov during the period under review was caused by two cold waves and correspond to conditions of mild winters.
