Abstract
Physical reanalysis of the Black Sea (2011 – 2015) was performed on the basis of a new remote sensing data of the sea surface temperature and altimetry. In addition to the previous work, it took opportunity to obtain a continuous series by 23 years duration of temperature, salinity and current velocity fields on a regular grid. The structure of the new satellite altimetry data differs from the one used before. This required modifying the assimilation algorithm. The continuous series obtained allowed analyzing the long-term variability of the Black Sea dynamics.
