Abstract
The propagation of single surface long waves in a semicircular model bay is researched. The Feodosia Bay with an irregular coastline is reviewed as an example. Zones of the most amplification of the wave field are found. Extreme level is elevated for the waves with a relatively small initial wavelength; the influence of the last is weakly expressed on the sea level lowering. Research may arouse interest in connection with tsunami problem.
