Abstract
On the basis of hydrodynamic model developed in Marine Hydrophysical Institute, fields of currents, temperature, salinity were calculated in fall in the coastal zone of the Southern coast of Crimea with real atmospheric forcing data. A high-spatial resolution (horizontal resolution 350 × 350 m and vertical resolution 38 layers) and detailed bathymetry with resolution ~500 m was used in the calculations. Meso- and submesoscale structures in hydrophysical fields, that have not been observed, or were slightly visible in previous experiments, were obtained. On the basis of analysis of energy characteristics possible physical mechanisms of formation were suggested.
