Rapid Method for Investigations of Radon Volume Activity above the Earth’s Surface

Abstract

A rapid method for investigations of radon volume activity by the total volumetric activity of radioactive decay of the daughter products of radon isotopes is presented. The advantages of the rapid method are shown compared with the laboratory method. The equation of dependence the energy of radon volume activity from the decay energy of 22short-lived isotope has been calculated empirically. The results are possible to use for investigations of radon-dangerous territories.
