Method of Satellite Data Analysis for Coastline Changes

Abstract

The method of analysis of coastline changes based on satellite data is suggested. The combination of IR channels for two separated in time images is used, this gives in the final image of the same area of the coast districts retreat and extensions coast. Landsat data allow detecting the zones with the significant changes in the coastline for the northern areas of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov during the last 30 years.
